As a part of its corporate social responsibility and in continuation of its social commitments and programs, privately held Corpus Inc, one of the fastest growing IT Consulting, Technology and Outsourcing solutions companies is making a charity donation of 40 personal computers to government schools through a leading a registered public Charitable trust - R.K. Foundation.
This demonstrates Corpus's commitment to India, and shows that we are here to invest and help India grow. Not just use it as a source for world-class talent.
The computers will be used to set up computer labs in lower primary and primary schools across Karnataka state in India. Students will be able to learn the basics of computing and other advanced software programs.
Sachin Tummala, Chairman and CEO, remarked - "This charitable initiative will help in bridging the digital divide between the haves and the have-nots in India. These computers will be a boon to the learning environment here, and will help the children be better prepared for the high-tech careers of the 21st century,"
