In response to the horrific Tsunami tragedy, Corpus, Inc rapidly mobilized its global base of employees to come to the aide of the victims. In its Dallas office, a charity luncheon was held on January 3rd to begin the fund raising process. Employees were also encouraged to make additional contributions of cash, clothing and blankets if possible. According to Ekta Singh, Director – HR, “the Corpus team really stepped up and through combined employee efforts raised over $6,000 in cash, and dozens of boxes of clothing and blankets were also contributed.” Additionally, the employee efforts were further matched dollar for dollar by the Corpus executive team resulting in over $12,000 in cash relief aide. Corpus offshore employees also got involved by directly contributing their time and efforts to deliver supplies to the victims in some of the most devastated Indian coastal communities.
