CORPUS ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF EAGLE – A HIGHLY CUSTOMIZABLE FRAUD & RISK MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK
Corpus, Inc, a leader in solution-based consulting and outsourcing services, announces the release of its newest solution framework, code named Eagle, a highly customizable fraud and risk management platform for ACH and Check 21. Eagle will benefit companies that need to implement automated risk management, fraud detection and prevention and compliance reporting applications. With the Federal Reserve releasing its final amendments to the Check 21 Act and the act going into effect Oct 28, 2004, it is now essential that all financial institutions, both large and small, have a built in mechanism to automate the processing of electronic checks and the storage and archiving of substitute checks.
Corpus’ EAGLE product suite comes with a very robust web interface that is both easy to use and highly customizable. Since the framework is built on Microsoft’s .NET technology, EAGLE provides several advantages, including rapid application development using its pre-built domain functionalities, and the ability to easily deploy it across multiple divisions within a financial institution.
Consistent with Corpus’ delivery model that includes onsite, offsite and offshore capabilities, Corpus utilized a unique blend of its domestic US and off-shore resources to build this platform. This makes our global knowledge base available to our customers, so that they can take advantage of any of Corpus’ delivery models to implement Eagle. Because of the unique and modular design of EAGLE, it is possible to build the application in less than one-third the time of most ground up developments and with a blend of Corpus offsite/offshore resources, at one third the cost of a traditional on-site or staff augmentation implementation.
"Our goal was to leverage our industry and technology knowledge to help our clients deliver business applications over the Internet," said Ashutosh (Ash) Ghogale, Practice Director BFSI for Corpus. "We achieved a breakthrough in rapid application development and web deployment that can create competitive advantage for our clients by providing them access to the tools they need to work with facilitating Fraud and Risk management, Regulatory Compliance and at the same time reduce cost. Corpus’ customizable solution can help solve one of the most fundamental issues facing major institutions; that is, how to efficiently keep pace with the rapidly changing financial services landscape both in terms of processes and technology while taking advantage of on-shore, off-shore delivery." Ash is a recognized subject matter expert in his field and has had the opportunity to present before the Honorable Governor of Maryland, the CIO of the State of Maryland, and CIOs of other state agencies, and leading private and educational institutes.
CORPUS has broken new ground in the use of .NET technology and its unique on-site/off-shore delivery capability.
